LEAD INSTRUCTOR
Julio Deras, PNCCT/ CCEMTP
Julio Deras, a firefighter paramedic with over 14 years of experience, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the field of emergency medical services. His distinguished career includes specialized work in pediatric and neonatal critical care at a premier children's hospital, underlining his proficiency in handling complex medical situations. Julio's academic credentials in critical care are anchored by his education at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), complemented by his diverse experience across multiple fire rescue agencies. As an adjunct instructor in a paramedic program and an instructor in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), he exemplifies a commitment to excellence in both practice and instruction. Julio's approach as an educator is characterized by an emphasis on practical, real-world applications of medical knowledge, aimed at nurturing critical thinking, effective decision-making, and a compassionate approach to patient care. His role as an instructor is not just to impart knowledge, but to inspire and prepare the next generation of medical professionals for the dynamic and challenging environment of emergency medical services.

With over 14 years of dedicated service as an EMT and firefighter, Chat brings a wealth of real-world experience and expertise to Elite Response Training. Known for his hands-on knowledge in critical emergency services, Chat is not only adept at teaching CPR and 'Stop the Bleed' techniques but is also deeply committed to continuous learning and professional development. Chat's unique blend of practical experience and instructional skills contributes immensely to the company's mission of delivering top-tier, flexible training solutions.

Antonio Romero, PharmD/FF/EMT
With over a decade of service in both pharmacy and as a volunteer firefighter/EMT, Antonio brings a unique blend of clinical and field-operation experiences to his classes. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family and prides himself in living a prepared lifestyle. He is passionate about teaching and ensuring that people have the necessary skills to save a life.
